How to set up hp Officejet pro 9025?
To set up an hp officejet pro 9025 printer for the first time, remove printer from the box, connect the power cord, install the ink cartridges, load paper, and then align the print head (or visit – 123.hp.com/setup 9025).
Here some steps given below:
Step1: Take out the printer from the box.
1. Take out the box, and all tapes from printer, stickers and packaging materials also take out from printer.
2. Lay off the film from the printer control panel.
3. Lift the scanner lid, remove the packing material from the scanner glass, and then close the scanner lid.
4. Recycle the packing materials.
Step 2: Connect the power cord and set your preferences.
1. Switch the pulg into printer an electrical outlet, turn on the printer, and then set your preferences.
NOTE: Don’t connect a USB cable at this time. The connection to the computer is installed during software installation.
2. Connect the power cord to the rear of the printer, then plug the other end of the power cord into an electrical outlet.
3. If the printer does not turn on automatically, press the Power button.
4. To set your preferences on the printer control panel, touch your preferred language, and then touch Confirm.
5. Touch your country/region.
Step 3: Install the ink cartridges.
Install the HP ink cartridges that sent in the box with your printer.
1. Open the front door, and then lift the ink cartridge access door.
The carriage pullout to the center of the printer.
Please, wait until the carriage stops moving before you continue.
2. Remove the ink cartridges from the box, and then remove the film from the ink cartridges. Carefully touch the black plastic on the ink cartridge.
3. Insert the ink cartridges into their slots.
4. Close the front door and ink cartridge access door.
5. On the printer control panel, touch OK.
Step 4: load your paper into input tray?
Load plain, U.S. letter, or A4 paper in the input tray, and then align the print head with an automated tool.
1. Pull out the input tray, and then remove the packing materials.
2. Load plain white paper into the input tray with the short edge forward and the print side down.
3. Slide in the paper width guides in until they rested against the edges of the paper.
4. Insert the input tray into the printer.
5. On the printer control panel, touch OK.
6. Align the print head.
- If there is a prompt to align the print head, touch OK to continue with the alignment.
- If there is no prompt to align the print head, select Align Print head from the Setup menu on the control panel.
7. An alignment page prints.
8. Open the scanner lid, and then place the alignment page on the scanner glass. Place the page face down with the top of the page aligned to the engraved guides near the back corner of the glass.
Step 5: Install the printer software
Now your hp printer hardware is now set up, and let’s install the printing software. Don’t attempt to connect the printer to a computer until instructed to do during software installation.
